    Took the Dolphin Racer speed boat tour. A large yellow speed boat tour of the intercostal waterway geared to look for dolphins. The boat kicks up a 5 ft wave when dolphins are spotted to entice them to play behind the boat in the wake. This trip was amazingly no we had dolphins playing in our wake 5 minutes out of port and almost the entire trip up and down the inter coastal. Trip lasted almost 1.5 hours. Captain Dolton and first mate Mike were very informative, fun, energetic and enthusiastic during the trip. We spotted and interacted with several pods of dolphins during the tour. Highly recommend this tour.

    There are never sufficient tellers. No matter what time of day ! Expect to wait.... ! Several bankers at their desks, and everyone is friendly, but avoid using the teller unless you have time to spare !

    We are locals and believe the Dolphin Racer is the best local boat tour hands down. On this trip you're likely to do more than just see dolphins, you're likely to see them jumping in the surf! It's so exciting to see these creatures decide to come play with you on the boat. When friends and family come to visit we always plan a ride on the Dolphin Racer. If you're lucky enough to get captain Dalton as your driver, your ride will be even better. He's really got great information to share about the area, the wildlife, and the unique things to know about Tampa Bay. Check out the Dolphin Racer whether you're a local or a visitor.
